Service and Support Administration

Service and Support Administration is much like Case Management. The ECBDD employs Service and Support Administrators (SSA) to help families develop a plan of supports addressing needs and goals. SSA’s are responsible for the following:

  • The Single Point of Contact from the ECBDD for the individual and their team.
  • Facilitate planning, team process, and development of an individual’s support services for adults.
  • Authorization of funding for local and Waiver services.
  • Monitor and ensure implementation of Individual Support Plan and monitoring reviews.
  • Focus on independence, skill development, employment, and limiting barriers.
  • Address issues of informed consent and competency/guardianship.
  • Referral and linkage to community resources, Courts and Law Enforcement.
  • Address health and safety needs, report MUI/UI as mandated reporter.
  • Encourage participation in the community and citizenship responsibilities (club memberships, churches, neighborhood connections, etc.).
  • Support Administrators do not provide direct service.
